What you need to know about Shears, Blenders & Using Them

Judy will explain everything you need to know about buying, maintaining and using shears and blenders. Different edges, metals and how using the correct tools will improve your performance. They will demonstrate ergonomics and the best ways to hold and use your shears with a live scissoring demonstration.

Schnauzers are one of the most popular of the terrier breeds. Let Diane show you how to use clippers, blades and comb attachments to get a beautiful, natural finish that looks almost handstripped. She will show you an easy way to get that brick-shaped head and how to set in the eyebrows.
Achieving balance and Symmetry using Snap on Combs & Clipper Maintenance
3pm to 5pm
Diane will show you how to achieve balance and symmetry on your poodle trims by using comb attachments to get the hair off all over the dog equally. She will show you how, when and where to use combs to get the hair off fast with as little finishing as possible.
Diane will show you how to save money by keeping your Andis Clippers and blades in tiptop shape! She will show you how to change the drive assembly and hinge on your clipper and how and when to clean and oil your blades as well as other easy maintenance tricks. In these tough economic times saving money is a must; this class will save you plenty in sharpening and repair costs.
